It took alot of pestering (sorry Dylan) but we are happy to announce that our most popular print is back in stock (Monday, Jan 28th)! Just in time for Valentines day. We truly thought the last batch really was the last. This new print is a tad bit smaller but that's the only change.. except the price! The last batch sold for $45 each and these are back down to $35, thanks to the fancy new letterpress they were printed on (much easier to use). We will have plenty in stock but they are still limited so if you missed the boat the first time around, don't wait too long!

Here is a little peek at Matte's show from last Saturday night. Can you believe we forgot to charge the battery on our camera? (rule #1, when you start a blog, make sure your camera is always charged!) These are a few pics that our friend Jenny took. It was a great way to kick off an exciting year of shows. We really wish Matte could have been there but we're still tickled to have his amazing work hanging in the shop. Available pieces will be up on the site soon so stay tuned!



We all over-dosed on red velvet cupcakes (a tribute to Matte's southern roots) and Bubble-Up soda.. We had a great time!

A new year and a new blog... we're so excited! One of the reasons we wanted to start a blog was to make our little website a bit more personal. A great thing about having your own shop is getting to chat with all of the interesting people who come through your door everyday. We have met some of the most amazing friends that way (including our pal Jenny who stayed up late last night giving us a blogger tutorial, thanks nerd!).

Here is a brief intro:
We are Tootie & Billie, We have been friends since high school and we feel so very fortunate to be doing what we are doing...

Tootie has a teenage son named Adam (who just passed his driving test, whoo hoo!). She and her boyfriend Brad have been together for 15 years. They have 2 adorable dogs, Otis & Pippa. When all of the other kids were playing house, Tootie was playing shop. It has been a life-long dream to have a boutique of her own and she pinches herself every day because it's even better than she ever imagined it would be!

I'm Billie. I am blissfully married with 3 young daughters. Emma is 8, Frankie is 6 and Tallulah is 3 and they are all fabulous (if I do say so myself!). When I'm not playing shop, I'm actually a stay-at-home mom. With the help & support of my wonderful partner Tootie (and my fantastic husband Adan)I get to have my cake and eat it too! I simply love our little shop. It inspires me to live a more creative life everyday!

So... what can you expect to see on our blog? A little bit of everything. Shop updates, artist interviews, things that inspire us and who knows?? The sky's the limit! It's going to be a lot of fun and we will do our best to post regularly. We hope you will visit often.. Thanks so much!
