Palo Santo, known scientifically as Bursera Graveolens, or "holy wood" in Spanish, is a wild tree native from Mexico to the Yucatán Peninsula and from Peru to Venezuela and inhabits the South American Gran Chaco region. The tree belongs to the same family as frankincense and myrrh. Besides making your house smell great, it is used throught the world to cleanse any space of bad energy or "mala energia" as they say in Ecuador. Our Palo Santo is wild harvested from a reserve in Ecuador from naturally fallen trees and branches that lie dead for 4-10 years before they are harvested.

100% Sustainable & Natural.

Comes attractively bundled in a group of 3 sticks appoximately 3-4 inches long.

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use a match or lighter to ignite your stick of Palo Santo. Hold at about a 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame. Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow out. Move about your workspace, home, car, bathroom or anywhere you would like to clear the energy. When finished, place the stick in a fire proof bowl of metal, glass or clay. The glow will end on its own unless you blow on the ember which will keep the smoke going. Always use caution and respect when working with fire.
