The cushion's deco-design was developed by FairTrade Designers with inspiration from traditional ethnic chinese embroidery and Danish embroidered tradition with the ”Home Sweet Home” cushion, which carries a message that signals personal values. The production of the Fair & Square cushion is managed out of Kunming in south-eastern China. Here, the supplier from Threads of Yunnan takes the design into the mountain villages and leaves the weaving and embroidery to local craftswomen. The design group’s vision is to use design and craft for global and social leverage under the motto “Make the most of consumption”. Available in collegiate lettering or script. The back side of each pillow is brightly embroidered with the name & hand print of the person who made it. 24" x 24"
